This 12-volt heater blower motor is a new replacement for OE-reference number 1K1819015. It drives the cabin ventilation fan that pushes air through the heater, air conditioning and demister vents. If your fan has stopped working, makes a squealing or ticking noise, or only works intermittently, a worn blower motor is a common cause.

On most listed vehicles the blower motor sits behind the passenger-side lower dash trim. Disconnect the battery before starting, unplug the connector and release the motor from its housing. Because this is an electrical component, we recommend fitting by a competent technician or auto electrician. If the fan only works on its highest setting, also check the blower resistor or control module.
