VW ID.6 X 2021+ Front Bumper Lower Centre Grille Mesh 12D853677

Product overview

Restore the front of your Volkswagen ID.6 X with this replacement front bumper lower grille, a centre mesh section referenced to OE number 12D853677. Fitted to ID.6 X models from 2021 onwards, the lower grille allows air through to the cooling system while protecting the components behind the bumper from stones and road debris. Grilles in this low position are frequently cracked by kerbs, wheel stops and loose gravel.

Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data lists the SAIC Volkswagen ID.6 X from 2021. The ID.6 X is built for the Chinese market and may not be sold new in Australia or New Zealand, so this grille is aimed at owners and repairers of imported vehicles. It should not be assumed to fit other ID models. Please confirm your OE number before ordering.

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

The grille is typically clipped and screwed into the bumper from behind. Removing the front undertray, and in some cases the bumper cover, gives the access needed. Inspect the radiator and condenser area for stone damage while the grille is out. Professional installation is recommended if bumper removal or sensor recalibration is required.

Fitment checks before ordering

Grille styles can vary with trim level, including sport packages. Confirm the OE number on your existing grille, or provide your VIN and a photo, before ordering. Our team will check the part against your vehicle details. A careful side-by-side comparison of mounting points and mesh pattern also helps avoid surprises at fitting time.

Package inclusions

1 x front bumper lower centre grille. Clips and screws are not included unless stated. Reusing tired or broken clips is a common cause of rattles, so fresh fixings are worth having on hand.
