VW Jetta / Golf Plus LED Front Headlight 6000K 1J5941015BE 1J5941017AE

Product overview

This new LED front headlight is referenced to OE numbers 1J5 941 015 BE and 1J5 941 017 AE. The listing attributes list the Volkswagen Jetta, while the product title names the Golf Plus. Rated at 12V and 70W with a 6000K cool white output, it is offered as a replacement for a damaged, cloudy or failed headlight.

Good headlights are critical for safe night driving and for being visible to others. A replacement is often needed when the lens has yellowed or cracked, moisture has entered the housing or mounting tabs have broken.

Vehicle compatibility

The listing associates this headlight with the Volkswagen Jetta and Golf Plus, but provides no generation, year range or detailed fitment table. The 1J5 reference prefix is typically linked to an earlier Jetta/Bora-era platform rather than the Golf Plus, so the vehicle names given are inconsistent. The listing also marks the item as a universal fitment, which is unlikely for a model-specific headlight. Fitment is therefore partial.

Key features

• LED light source with 6000K colour temperature

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

Choose the light colour option when ordering. A qualified auto electrician or workshop is recommended for fitting, as wiring connections and correct beam aim are critical. After installation, have the headlight aim checked to ensure it meets New Zealand WoF standards and does not dazzle oncoming drivers.

Check all functions operate correctly before refitting trim.

Fitment checks before ordering

Left and right headlights have different part numbers, and the two OE numbers above may correspond to different sides. Confirm side and model by matching your OE number and VIN before ordering.

Package inclusions
