VW LED Front Headlight Assembly 2H1941015AP / 2H1941016AB

Product overview

This LED front headlight assembly is a replacement unit referenced to the 2H1 941 015 and 2H1 941 016 OE number families, covering several suffix versions. It is intended to replace a damaged or weathered Volkswagen headlamp with a bright cool white LED unit.

A complete headlamp assembly is often the simplest fix for a cracked lens, broken adjusters or a lamp that has filled with condensation. Upgrading to a new LED unit also gives a whiter, more modern light output, helping the vehicle look tidy and remain road-legal for its Warrant of Fitness inspection.

Vehicle compatibility

The listed fitment table lists the Volkswagen Caddy III Box (2004–2015). However, the 2H1 part number prefix suggests a different Volkswagen model, so this fitment is unconfirmed. Please match the OE number on your existing headlight and confirm by VIN before ordering.

Key features

• LED front lamp with cool white output
• Listed 6000 K colour temperature and 4000 lm output
• 12 V operation, listed at 70 W
• Referenced to ten OE suffix variants for both sides

Installation requirements

Professional installation is recommended for headlight electrics. Disconnect the battery, remove the necessary grille or bumper trim and transfer any adjusters from the old lamp if required. After fitting, test each function and have the headlamp aim set.

Fitment checks before ordering

Numbers ending 015 and 016 normally denote left and right respectively. Confirm the side, vehicle model and plug type, and check by VIN before purchase. LED conversions on halogen-wired vehicles may need additional adaptation.

Package inclusions

1 x headlight assembly per piece. Contents as pictured/listed for the selected option; mounting hardware is not included unless stated.
