VW Passat 2015–2016 Headlight Assembly 6000K 3GB941773 3GB941081

Product overview

This headlight assembly is a replacement unit listed for the Volkswagen Passat from 2015–2016, referenced to OE numbers 3GB 941 773 and 3GB 941 081. The listing describes it as a 12 V headlight with 6000K colour temperature, and it suits owners replacing a cracked, hazy or failed lamp.

A new headlight assembly restores clear lenses and sound mounting points, which are often damaged in minor front-end impacts. This can be a practical alternative to sourcing a used lamp of unknown condition.

Vehicle compatibility

The listed fitment data lists the Volkswagen Passat for 2015–2016. The part listing also mentions SUV use, but no SUV models were listed in the fitment data. Engine and body variants were not provided. Please confirm by OE number or VIN before ordering, as Passat headlights vary between halogen, xenon and LED versions.

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

Removing the old lamp typically involves taking off the front bumper and unplugging the headlight wiring. Professional installation is recommended for this electrical component, and some vehicles may need the lighting system coded with diagnostic equipment. Check beam alignment once fitted.

Fitment checks before ordering

The two OE numbers listed may relate to different components, and the side of the vehicle has not been stated. Australian and New Zealand vehicles drive on the left, so confirm the beam pattern suits RHD vehicles. Send us your VIN before ordering if you need help confirming the correct lamp.

Package inclusions
