VW Passat B8 2016–2020 LED Headlight Assembly 3GD941005 / 3GD941006

Product overview

A replacement LED front lighting assembly referenced to OE numbers 3GD 941 005 and 3GD 941 006. The listing attributes list it for the Volkswagen Passat B8 and its Magotan equivalent, making it suitable for replacing a broken, fogged or failed headlamp with a new cool white unit.

A full headlamp replacement is usually the most reliable repair where the lens is cracked or the internal LED module has failed, since sealed units are difficult to repair. It also restores a crisp appearance to the front of the car.

Vehicle compatibility

Listing attributes give the Volkswagen Passat B8 / Magotan with a year range of 2016 to 2020. The automated fitment table and title also mention the Polo 2017–2019, which uses a different headlamp, so that entry should not be relied upon. Confirm by OE number or VIN before ordering.

• LED light source with cool white output
• Listed 6000 K colour temperature and 8000 lm output

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

Professional fitting is recommended. On the Passat B8 the bumper must be partially removed to reach the lamp fixings. Reconnect wiring carefully, test every lighting function including indicators and daytime lights, and have the beam height adjusted after installation.

Fitment checks before ordering

Passat B8 headlamps vary between halogen, LED and adaptive versions, and pre- and post-facelift styles differ. Confirm your current lamp type and side, and verify by VIN before purchase. A photo of the label on your current lamp helps us check quickly.

Package inclusions

1 x headlight assembly per piece. Contents as pictured/listed for the selected option; mounting hardware is not included unless stated.
