VW Passat CC 2008–2012 Radiator Support Front Panel 3C8805588C

Product overview

A replacement radiator support, sometimes called a front panel or heat sink bracket, for the Volkswagen Passat CC. It is referenced to OE number 3C8 805 588 C and supplied in black. This panel carries the radiator, condenser, headlamps and bonnet lock, and is a common replacement after front-end collision damage.

A bent or cracked front panel can upset headlamp aim, bonnet alignment and cooling pack support. Installing a new carrier gives the body shop a correct base to rebuild the front end of the car.

Listed fitment data lists 13 Volkswagen Passat CC (B6, 357) applications from 2008 to 2012, covering 1.4 TSI MultiFuel, 1.8 TSI, 2.0 TSI/TFSI, 2.0 TDI and 3.6 FSI 4motion engines. The listing title also mentions the 2012–2017 facelifted CC, which has not been confirmed. Please check by OE number or VIN before ordering.

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

Front panel replacement is panel-shop work. The bumper, lights, cooling pack and bonnet latch need to be removed and transferred. Check panel gaps and headlamp alignment carefully on reassembly, refill the cooling system and have the air-conditioning recharged if any lines were opened.

Fitment checks before ordering

Front carriers can vary with engine size and cooling configuration, particularly between four-cylinder and V6 models. Compare your original panel and its part number, and verify by VIN before purchase. Due to its size, this item may require special freight arrangements. If you are unsure, send us your VIN and photos of the damaged panel and the label area, and we can help confirm the correct part number before ordering. This helps avoid costly return freight on bulky items.
