Vehicle compatibility

Listed fitment data covers around 200 vehicle variants. Examples include:

Further Transporter, Multivan and Caravelle variants are covered beyond the rows shown here.

Key features

• Electric folding function as listed
• Heated glass to help clear frost and mist on cold Kiwi mornings
• ABS plastic housing with mirror glass
• Supplied in black, or primed black (colour code 9B9) ready for painting to match your van
• New, direct replacement for a broken or worn unit

A working mirror is essential for safe lane changes and reversing, particularly in a large van or camper where rear visibility is limited. Replacing the full assembly is often quicker than sourcing separate glass, motor and housing parts.

Technical specifications

Installation requirements

Fitting involves removing the inner door trim, disconnecting the mirror wiring plug and unbolting the old unit. As the mirror is wired into the vehicle electrical system, professional installation is recommended. Check the folding and heating functions work before refitting the trim.

Fitment checks before ordering

Volkswagen produced left and right mirrors with different part numbers and several connector layouts across T5 and T6 vans. Please confirm the side you need and the OE number or VIN of your vehicle before ordering. Note that Australian and New Zealand vans are right-hand drive.
