The M272 E35 engine was the next step in the development of the V6 from Mercedes and was intended to replace the M112 E32 and M112 E37. In addition to the 3.5-liter, the new family includes the M272 E25 and M272 E30, with a working volume of 2.5 and 3 liters, respectively. The V6-family includes: M112 E24, M112 E26, M112 E28, M112 E32, M112 E37, M272 E25, M272 E30, M272 E35, M276 DE30, M276 DE35.
