ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTE

For window regulator motors with anti-pinch function, the motor must be correctly set in the door before testing. Testing the motor out of the door can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require reset.

• Motors are tested and preset prior to dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect to the one-touch window switch and pull the switch up.
• If the window goes fully up and stays at the top, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET INSTRUCTIONS

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again after reaching the top, repeat the steps until successful.
